The company

Since 2021, from Tallinn.

Reindeer Entertainment OÜ is a small Estonian company. Small on purpose: the work is product development, and the products stay in-house instead of being handed to somebody else to finish.

The backends, the admin framework behind them and the analytics on this very page all run on infrastructure we administer ourselves.

We wrote it, we host it, and we are the ones who get called when it breaks.

Card and board games, played on the screen you already own

A platform for digitising card and board games. The TV or monitor becomes the table, and every player's phone becomes their controller — so the game state is shared, but your hand stays yours. Behind it run nine backend services and a real-time game server, and in front of it four apps: one to build games, one to play them, one to run the table, one to scan cards in. There is an English and a Hungarian edition.

The same folder on two machines, kept in step — with no server in between

Pick the same folder on both machines. dirwired compares the two, then moves only what is missing — straight from one machine to the other over WebRTC. Our server never sees a single byte; it introduces the two browsers and stays out of the way. Nothing is ever deleted or overwritten, conflicts are skipped, and you see a preview of what will move before anything starts. An interrupted run resumes: what already arrived is verified by hash and not sent again. Needs a Chromium-based browser, because reading and writing a folder requires the File System Access API.

The admin framework behind our own backends

A multi-tenant admin framework: one API serves several projects, each with its own isolated database, and features switch on from configuration rather than from code. We built it for ourselves and we use it every day — it runs the back office of the projects above, and the analytics on this very page.

Not a product. Contract work — architecture, development, and the operation of what gets built — goes out under its own name, and the company on this page is the legal entity behind it. If you came here from an invoice, this is the other end of it.
